When you add a date of death in the Deceased field in a patient's details, the patient is automatically archived. Otherwise, you can archive a patient manually:
- In the Clients & Patients view, find the patient you want to archive.
- On the patient page, select the pen icon next to the Patient details section title.
- Select the Archived option on the patient details page.
You can find all archived patients on the Clients & Patients tab using the Archived filter. To view a specific client's archived patients, go to the client's page and select the Archived filter under Patients. Depending on the department settings, archived patients may also be included in super search results.
