Check If a Microchip Number Has Been Added to a Patient's Records

You can check from the microchip icon whether a microchip number has been added to a patient's records. The microchip icon is shown in various places in Provet Cloud, for example, the patient header row on the client and patient page, the appointment details dialogue, the dashboard, and the consultation page. The icon colour shows whether a microchip number has been added: 

  • Red: A microchip number has not been saved for the patient.
  • Orange: The microchip number has not been checked for over a month.
  • Green: A microchip number has been saved for the patient and checked recently.

Note that if the VetEnvoy integration is used in your Provet Cloud for microchip registration, the microchip colour shows whether the microchip has been registered.
