Find the client and patient you want to create a boarding reservation for.

On the client and patient page, select New > Boarding. The Boarding page opens.

Select a slot in the calendar to add a reservation directly to a specific patient location. Alternatively, you can select the Create boarding button in the upper right-hand corner above the calendar and select the location in the next step. The Add new boarding event dialogue opens.

Fill in the required information.

Client, patient, location, and check-in appointment reason type are automatically filled in if you selected them in the previous steps. If the selected location has reached its maximum capacity, Provet Cloud shows a warning message indicating that the location is at full capacity but will allow you to overbook if necessary. Ensure that this aligns with your clinic's boarding event processes before proceeding.

Select the check-out appointment reason type.

Add a title for the reservation.

Add the check in and check out times. Separate appointments are created for check in and check out based on these times.

Select Save.
Confirmation messages are sent to the client for both the check-in and check-out appointments based on the appointment confirmation and reason settings.
Boarding reservations are shown on the Calendar > Boarding page.
Select the reservation you want to edit or delete in the calendar. The reservation information opens in a pop-up window.

Select the pen button in the upper right corner of the pop-up window.

Edit as needed and select Save changes.

Select the trash bin button in the upper right corner of the pop-up window.

The Delete Boarding dialog opens. If cancellation reasons are used in your Provet Cloud, select a Cancellation reason from the drop-down list. The available cancellation reasons depend on the department settings.

If needed, add an additional description in the Cancellation reason text field.

Depending on the department settings, the Send cancellation email to the client checkbox may be shown. Select the checkbox if you want to send the client an email confirmation about the cancellation.

Select Delete . The appointment is deleted from the boarding calendar, but it will still be shown on the client's page with the status 'Cancelled'.
Note: When you delete a reservation, the check-in and check-out appointments are also deleted. If the patient has already been checked in, the active consultation is not deleted. In this case, you can cancel the check-in and then delete the consultation.
