Create a Team

Using teams, you can link shifts with teams and find available appointment times by teams.

To create a team:

  1. Go to Settings > Department > Teams.
  2. Select Add in the upper right-hand corner of the section.
  3. Add a name for the team in the Name field. This information is required.
  4. Add a code for the team in the Code field. This information is required.
  5. From the Color drop-down list, you can select a color for the team.
  6. From the Ward drop-down list, select a ward you want to link the team to. This is needed so that you can use teams with shifts and appointments.
  7. Select Save.

Use Teams With Shifts and Appointments

When scheduling a shift, you can link the shift with a ward and a team. You can then search for available appointment times and view the day plan by teams.

Note that teams are currently not shown in the consultation flow but only for shifts and appointments. However, once a patient has been checked into a consultation, you can link the consultation to the responsible nurse, surgeon, student etc. to track who is involved in the consultation. It is then possible to search for the consultation by personnel on the dashboard and other Patient care pages.
