Note
This function is currently only available in a limited number of customer environments.
When a central department is used in the system, the Pricing Tool is enabled, and items have been created or published at least once from the Pricing Tool to Provet Cloud, you can create central item bundles in the central department and share them with local departments. Central item bundles can be used on a consultation in the same way as regular item bundles. Note that the prices of the copied bundle and its items are determined by the local department's pricing, not by the pricing set in the central department.
-
The connected Provet Cloud instance uses the Central Department feature setting must be enabled under Settings > General.
-
Items must be published from the Pricing Tool to Provet Cloud to generate main item IDs, which are required for linking items between the central and local departments.
-
Items must be linked through the Pricing Tool to the individual lists of local departments, and the Update Provet Cloud linked items setting must be selected in the publication settings of each item.
-
In the central department, go to Catalog > Bundles.
-
Select Add bundle and fill in the information.
-
Select Create. The bundle is saved and the bundle page opens.
-
If you want to share the item bundle with other departments, select the desired departments in the Copied to departments field. To share with all departments, select All. The Excluded departments field appears, allowing you to specify any departments to exclude if needed.
-
Add items to the bundle.
-
Select Save and publish. The bundle and its items are copied to the selected local departments. Note: It may take a moment for the selected departments to appear under the shared departments list. If the list doesn't update, refresh the page to see the departments to which the bundle was copied.
To view the bundle in a local department, locate the bundle and select the eye button at the end of the row.
Note that you cannot edit shared bundles in local departments. To make changes, create a copy of the bundle in the local department.
Find the bundle you want to copy and select the plus button at the end of the row. Then edit the bundle name and adjust the contents as needed.
When managing bundles in the central department, any changes made to the items, sub-bundles, or discounts are reflected in all shared departments once the central bundle is saved. Here’s how updates are applied:
-
Update Item Discount, Quantity, Discount for Planned Items, and Default Selection: Updates to the discount percentage, quantity, planned discount settings, or default selection of an item in the central department bundle. These changes are applied to corresponding bundles in all shared departments. Note that the base price of the item continues to be determined by each department's local item list.
-
Remove a Sub-Bundle: Removes a sub-bundle from the central department bundle. This change is applied to all shared departments, and the bundle price is updated accordingly.
-
Remove an Item: Removes an item from the central department bundle. This action deletes the item from all shared departments, and the bundle price is updated accordingly.
-
Fixed-Price Bundles: The same actions (item price updates, sub-bundle removal, or item removal) apply to fixed-price bundles. However, the total bundle price in shared departments remains fixed, regardless of any changes made to the bundle's contents.
