Add or Update Wholesaler Items Manually

You can add items manually in Catalog > Items. For more information, see Create an Item.

If you are using a wholesaler integration (electronic ordering), make sure that all wholesaler items are set up correctly and the wholesaler information is filled in on the Stock and pricing tab in the item dialogue:

  • Select a Primary wholesaler and, if needed, a Secondary wholesaler for the item. The primary wholesaler should be the wholesaler that you normally order this item from. You can add a secondary wholesaler if you also want to be able to order the item from another wholesaler electronically. The item will then be available for both wholesalers when creating an order.

  • Add the Primary/secondary wholesaler item code. The wholesaler code is provided by the wholesaler. The code is used to find the correct product, as the item name can be different in your Provet Cloud.
