System Requirements of Provet Cloud

Network Connection

Provet Cloud does not require large download speeds, but the stability of the connection is important. We recommend at least 5 Mbps of bandwidth per simultaneous user, with average latency below 400 ms. For example, if your clinic has up to 10 users using Provet Cloud simultaneously through the same network connection, we recommend at least a 50 Mbps connection. You can easily check your speed from Fast.com, for example. Ideally, a clinic should use a fast and stable fibre connection, but the system also works with stable WiFi and 4G (or above) data connections.

Browsers and Operating Systems

The system has been developed to be used with the Google Chrome web browser. Provet Cloud also works on other browsers but may show some errors or warnings.

In terms of operating systems, we recommend options that support Google Chrome and have proper support from their providers regarding regular security updates. Commonly used systems such as Windows 10 and 11, and macOS are recommended (see more below).

Note

When using Provet Cloud on an Apple mobile device with Google Chrome, you may still see a warning about the browser not being recommended. This is because currently the official Chrome version that is available on iOS and iPadOS is not fully based on the original Google Chrome.

Device Requirements and Recommendations

Provet Cloud works best on modern desktop and laptop computers that can run the latest versions of the Google Chrome browser. To see the latest Chrome system requirements, see THIS ARTICLE.

Provet Cloud also works on mobile devices such as tablet computers and smartphones but is not yet optimized for them.

1920x1080 results in alot of scrolling. At 1920x1080, countersale page will not show search box.

Is 1920x1080 really the recommended resolution?
