Change a Patient’s Owner

If a patient’s primary ownership changes, the patient’s account can be transferred to the new owner.

  1. Make sure that the new owner has a client account saved in your system. If not, first add the client.
  2. Go to the old owner's client and patient page. If multiple patients are connected to the client, select the patient you want to transfer to the new owner.
  3. Select Tools > Change owner. A new page opens.
  4. Find and add the new owner in the New owner field.
  5. Select Save.

When a patient's owner has been changed, the owner change is shown on the patient's History tab.
