This article will show you how to create a new patient. Please note, patient accounts can only be created once the designated client account has first been created. A patient must be assigned to a client.
Creating a new patient
There are many areas that a new patient can be created from. One common workflow is directly from a client page. An example screen is shown below. Simply select the “Patient” icon. A new patient page will open and prompt.
TIP: Use the drop-down arrow next to “Patient” to quickly add multiple patients.
Entering patient information
An example screen of the patient profile is shown below. A patient name and species is required to save the new patient. You can enter any additional information as available. Once done entering patient information, select the “Save” button.
Editing patient general information
You can edit a patient’s general information at any time by using the blue pen icon as shown below. Once you have updated or edited the information, save the record using the save button.
