When creating a Word form, you can insert merge fields that serve as placeholders for data that Provet Cloud later inserts into the document, or use them as freely editable fields. This functionality makes the workflow faster and more reliable. For a list of available placeholders, see List of Placeholders.
- Select Add in the desired location.
- Select the desired form from the drop-down list.
- The Open form dialogue opens. Select Open.
- The Editing the form view opens, showing a preview of the form and the placeholder data that Provet Cloud has inserted into the document based on the mapping done when uploading the form.
- Edit the placeholder fields manually if needed. Incorrect autofill information indicates errors in the patient file. Empty fields mean either missing data in the patient file or intentional spaces for free text.
- Provet Cloud autosaves the changes you have made to the form.
- You can also select Save & Preview to save changes manually.
- From the preview, you can Print the document.
- To send the form by email, select Send mail.
- If you want to lock the form to prevent further modifications, select Lock this form. Once a form is locked, it can only be printed.
- To import a file to override the form generated by Provet Cloud or to export the file, select DOCX import/export.
- You can also Remove the form unless it is locked.
After closing the preview, the document is shown in the Forms section where you added the form. In addition, all saved client, patient and consultation forms are accessible for printing, editing, or deleting on the Forms tab of the client and patient page.
