How to Create a New Client Account
New clients can be created from three different locations in Provet Cloud:
- Main Dashboard
- Client & Patient Database
- During appointment scheduling
Creating a New Client from the Dashboard
- Select the 'Tools' drop-down button located in the top right corner
- Select 'Client' from the drop-down menu
Creating a New Client from the Client & Patient Database
- Access the client & patient database by selecting the second icon within the left navigation menu
- Select the 'New Client' button
Creating a New Client During an Appointment Scheduling
- Access a new appointment scheduling prompt through the appointment calendar
- Select the blue “New client” button.
How to complete a new client's general information
Regardless the workflow used to begin the new client account, once the 'new client' button is selected, you will be redirected to the new client general information page where basic information can be gathered and defined. An example screen is shown below for your reference.
It is recommended at minimal that the client’s full name (First and Last) is defined, as well as a method of contact for direct communication (phone or email). The available information fields may vary depending on the features and the department country of your Provet Cloud instance as well as additional client custom fields can also be created for use.
Once all available information has been defined, click the 'Save' button on the bottom left corner to finalise the client account creation. After this, depending on the workflow used to create the new client account, you will be redirected to the full client profile page, or taken back to the appointment booking view.
Once the client is created, a database ID number will be automatically generated for the client, which can be used to easily identify and search for the client in the future. The number is displayed within parenthesis next to the client’s name.
Editing clients
The general information of the client can be edited and updated at any time by clicking on the blue edit pen icon next to the 'General info - Client' heading. All previously available general information fields will display for use and modification.
