Editing or Deleting Label Templates

Introduction

This article provides an overview of label template management. The options are different depending on the label printing solution in use. To see or change the solution in use, go to Settings > General > Integrations > Label printing > Enabled label printing solution.

Blackbox 2.0 and PDF Preview Print Version

These instructions apply to label printing solutions 'Blackbox 2.0' and 'PDF preview print'.

  1. Go to Settings > General > Integrations > Label printing.
  2. Under Label templates, select + Add to add a new template. A dialogue opens.
  3. From the Label type list, select the desired label type.
  4. Fill the HeaderBody, and Footer fields as desired. Note that you can use placeholders.
  5. Optionally, you can select a device from the Preview on device option to see a rendering of the label. Note that this works once you've typed something into the body area.
  6. Select Save.

Blackbox, Windows and Zebra Version

These instructions apply to label printing solutions 'Blackbox', 'Windows program' and 'Zebra printer'.

  1. Go to Settings > General > Integrations > Label printing.
  2. Under Label templates, select + Add to add a new template. A dialogue opens.
  3. From the Label type list, select the desired label type.
  4. Fill in the text fields starting from Preview as desired. Each field corresponds to a new line on the label. The number of characters is limited, except for the last field which allows more text. Note that you can use placeholders.
  5. Select Save.

Editing or Deleting Label Templates

  1. Go to Settings > General > Integrations > Label printing.
  2. Available label templates are shown under Label templates.
    • Select the pen button to edit a label template. An editing dialogue opens.
    • Select the trash bin button to delete a label template. A confirmation dialogue opens.
