How Reports Are Generated
The system allows using many different filters and options when generating a specific report.
Once a report is generated in the system using the Generate report action, the command is sent to the report generation queue. The reports are then generated based on the queue which is shared between all Provet Cloud accounts.
Reports are also cached - saved in the background for 60 minutes. This means that when trying to generate the same report again with the same filter options, it will run faster because it only needs to check if the data has not changed and the cache is valid.
Note that sometimes report generation may take too long and you may receive a 'Timeout' error. In this case, try running the report at another time or reduce the amount of data that is included (for example, shorten the time range).
