Search for Clients and Patients

You can search for clients and patients using the 'super search' field in the top menu bar of the Provet Cloud view or the search options in the Records > Clients & Patients view.

The different tabs on the client and patient page also include page-specific search options and filters.

In the Records > Clients & Patients view, you can make a basic search by client or patient name or ID or select the Extended search check box for more search options. The search results are listed below the extended search options list.

Using the extended search options, you can search with additional information and limit your search results further, for example, search for cat owners whose last name is Jones. When the Enable patient addresses setting is enabled in the clinic location settings, you can use the Street address field to search by the patient’s address. This may include a location such as a stable or yard, which is particularly useful in production animal and equine clinics where patients are often located at a different address than the client.
