Overview
Provet Cloud offers a simple way to attach notes & communications into a client's records. In a common scenario, the attachment could be an updated confirmation of personal information that the client has signed, scanned, and electronically provided to the clinic. All types of notes regarding the client, including external files, can be stored under the 'Notes & Communication' section available on the client page. Provet Cloud allows you to add any number of attachment files in different formats, such as PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG, XLS, XLSX.
Instructions
- Open a client's page.
For example through the Super Search tool located in the header bar of Provet Cloud. - Scroll down through client page or use the quick navigation selections along the right navigation menu to access the “Notes & Communication” block.
- Click on the green 'Add' button. By clicking the button you will begin a new note entry through the available prompt.
- Complete informational fields
- Select a note type. The note type selection helps organize notes & communications within a record to make searching and identifying entries of a category simpler.
- Define the note entry title.
- Select a patient if appropriate. This will clone the note entry into the selected patient's record as well. Once a patient is identified, any available consultation, diagnostic imaging or laboratory referral options will populate for selection.
- Complete any additional text comments within the 'Note' field.
- Select a note type. The note type selection helps organize notes & communications within a record to make searching and identifying entries of a category simpler.
- Add any attachment files by dragging & dropping the document into the attachment area, or click on the area to activate the browse tool.
- Select 'Save' once all information has been verified as accurate and complete.
The note, and attachment is now saved within the client record and will remain in the 'Notes & Communication' section, as well as a patient history if a patient was selected. The note can be edited by clicking on the pen icon and archived or removed by clicking on the trashcan icon. Archived notes can still be viewed in the 'Notes & Communication' section when selecting the filter accordingly.
