When adding a medicine, food, or supply item on a consultation, you can add refills for the item if repeat prescriptions are enabled in the settings. This allows the client to receive refills of the same item without having to consult a veterinarian.

1. On a consultation, add a medicine, food, or supply item to the treatment items.
2. Select Dispensed or Prescribed as the Usage type of the item.
3. In the Refills field, add the number of refills you want to allow.

You can view a client's product sales history and use and renew refills on the client and patient page.

• Refill medicine features in use: When this setting is selected, refill functions are available.
