Provet Cloud can be integrated with select wholesalers so that product lists with prices can be directly downloaded into Provet Cloud. The lists can also be updated after the initial import.
Enabling these features requires initial setup by Provet Cloud support. Please contact support to initiate this process.
1. Go to the Import Area and Select the Wholesaler
To start an import, navigate to Settings > Import & Export > Import from list.
The first step is to select the wholesaler from whom you want to download or update the list. Select the wholesaler by clicking on the radio button in front of their name. You can also use the search field on the page above the table to search if there are many wholesalers available.
Note that you can also apply import filters from the right to limit item types or to only include new items or updated items.
Finally, select the green 'Next' button to proceed in the process.
2. Select Items for Import
After selecting 'Next', the system will process for a while to get the list.
On this page, you can select the items you want to import or update. After selection, select the green 'Next' button again to proceed.
Things to note:
- Items that are already in the clinic's item list, are marked with C.
- New items are marked with green.
- Items that have been updated by the wholesaler are marked with yellow. The price column also has info about this.
- You can also use the search field to search for specific items.
3. Edit Items
After selecting 'Next', the next step opens, allowing you to customise the items that are to be imported.
You can allocate the items to subgroups as needed, add a markup percentage or redefine the selling prices. Editing any of the price or markup fields also recalculates the other fields handily.
Selecting 'Next' here starts the import process.
4. Items are Imported and Summary Presented
After selecting 'Next', the items will imported and a summary page will be presented as seen below.
