Admit a Referred Patient and Begin Consultation

When an appointment has been booked for a received referral, the referral is shown on Dashboard > Patient Referrals with the status 'Appointment booked'. The appointment information is shown in the Appointments / Consultation column.

To mark the patient as arrived and begin the consultation, go to the Mark as arrived to consultation page by selecting the appointment link on the Patient Referrals tab, or start from the appointment calendar or the main dashboard. When you admit the appointment or start the consultation, the referral status changes to 'Started'. 

On the consultation page, a Patient referrals section is shown at the top of the page. Any attached files are listed in the Connected notes section under General info.
