Adding Items from the Health Plan Dialogue
When a patient has an active health plan, the health plan icon and a link are shown in the sidebar on the right-hand side of the consultation page.
- Select the health plan link to open the health plan dialogue. If the client is late on their payments, you will see a notification. Note that late payments will not prevent you from using items from the health plan.
- In the health plan dialogue, select the items you want to use and add the Quantity.
- If available, you can add the Performed by or Administration method options.
- Select Use items.
The items and related compensation items are added to the consultation. To see which consultation item a compensation item compensates, hover over the health plan icon (3).
Adding Health Plan Items Directly to Consultation Items
When you add an item directly to the consultation items or on the invoice page (not through the health plan dialogue), you will see a notification if the item is included in the patient's active health plan. You can then select whether to use it from the health plan. Depending on the health plan settings, this option may be selected by default.
Returning Unused Items to the Health Plan
If you have added an item from a health plan to a consultation but end up not using it, simply delete the consultation item or the related compensation item. The item is added back to the patient's unused health plan items.
Replacing Items During a Consultation
Depending on the health plan general settings, it may be possible to replace items included in a health plan during a consultation. You can do this when you add health plan items from the health plan dialogue.
If an item is out of stock or the stock is low, you will see a warning icon next to the item in the health plan dialogue. To view information about the stock level, hover over the icon.
To replace an item, select the Replace item link and find another item using the search field that appears. If you want to cancel your selection, select the Use original item link.
On the consultation page, a replacement icon is shown next to the health plan icon. To see which item was replaced, hover over the icon.
