Provet Pay Pricing Models and Payment Type Fees

Pricing Models

The following pricing models are available for Provet Cloud. Which one to choose depends mainly on your volume and the approach you prefer.

Pricing Model A, Basic (Flat Rate)

With flat rate pricing, we offer one rate that is applied to Visa and MasterCard transactions. Refunds are charged at a 50% discount. There are no other fees for basic transactions. In dispute cases, a chargeback fee may be applied.

This is the clearest model if you want certainty and predictability on the cost of card payments. This option is recommended for start-up clinics and customers with low volume (less than 500 K eur per year in card processing). The pricing is the same regardless of volume. For small businesses and businesses that process low volumes of transactions, the flat rate model is a good option because it simplifies pricing and accounting.

Example: Using a flat rate pricing of 1.49%, when a client pays 100€ to your clinic, you pay a 1.49€ fee, meaning that 98.51€ is paid on your account.

Pricing model B, Interchange++, High Volume Pricing

The interchange++ pricing model consists of two main parts of the fees, the interchange++ fees and the Nordhealth markup. The markup rate is included in the pricing sheet and agreed on in your contract. Interchange++ fees are third party fees charged by card schemes, banks and the acquirer.

The interchange++ model is suitable for larger businesses that want the best prices on their payment processing. With the 'cost plus markup', there are less risks involved. The interchange++ costs vary by card type and region. With higher volume amounts, we can offer lower prices. This model is transparent, but its downside is decreased predictability of the costs.

Example: If the markup is 0.90% and a client pays 100€ using a card with Interchange++ fee of 0.32%, your clinic pays 1.22€ in fees in total, meaning that 98.78€ is paid on your account.

Payment Methods

The following payment methods are available for Provet Pay. Visa and MasterCard are enabled by default. If you want to enable other payment methods, please contact Provet Cloud Support. No set up fees are applied.

Interchange++ means that the payment method falls under European regulations. Interchange++ fees are typically 0.3% - 0.4% for standard consumer cards.
